Harvest Team Member Sydney Ossman: "I chose to make made a Memory/ Sensory box, for people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Dementia, to be donated to the “Forget Me Not” collection in the Farmington Area Public Library. This collection was started in memory of Harry Richard Vawter, who recently passed. Richard was the grandfather of my brother and sisters and ultimately was like a grandfather to me. He cared for his wife Patricia Vawter, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2008. The family has welcomed me, and three other care givers, into their home to take over the responsibility of caring for their loved one. This particular box is inspired by sewing with the hopes that for someone like Patricia, who was a seamstress, will stimulate memories by touching an item like a thimble or a spool thread." 2018-19 Harvest Team is sponsored by: Lozier Oil, Bank of Farmington, Joe and Emily Webel, Chad Johnson-Jim Maloof Realtor, Farmington Community Bank and Marilyn & Larry Gibbs.

Meghan Snyder was selected as March’s Senior of the Month. Meghan has been in the drama department in the past for “Shrek The Musical” and did a fantastic job! She is also an active member in the choir. She loves to sing, dance, and listen to music. She also enjoys eating Pop Tarts and spending her free time taking naps. In addition, Meghan loves her family, friends, school, and her dog Melo. She always has a smile on her face, and Farmington wouldn’t be Farmington without her! Congratulations, Meghan!
