8th grade trip at the MLK Jr Memorial.

Farmington 265 will be spraying herbicide to the fence lines, athletic fields and sidewalks on Monday, June 18.

The results are finally in from State Parliamentary Procedure contest this past Monday. We placed 6th in the state among a very talented field of teams! Chair Karah Thomas placed 5th among the chairmen, Secretary Jacob Gibbs placed 7th among the secretaries in a 3-way tie for 7th. Christy Mahr placed 15th, Katie Barnett placed 19th, Gabe Benson placed 32nd, Jacob Gibbs placed 34th, and Sam Deppermann placed 40th as floor members. Congratulations on a strong run this year! From Section in January to Districts in May and State Finals in June, it was a long season with multiple practice meetings and tests but the results speak to the dedication shown by our outstanding members!

Congratulations Karah Thomas for receiving Gold Rating as a Top Chapter President.

I want to thank Mayor Kent Kowal for spending the day with my 8th grade classes earlier this month. He did a very informative presentation on concentration camps which the students had been learning about in their literature classes.
