A Farmington community member will be participating in the Greater Peoria Honor Flight on October 7th. In preparation for this event, Mrs. Evans taught her 7th grade students about the Honor Flight program and shared information about one of the veterans and his military service. Following the lesson, the students created heartfelt cards for the veteran to read during the "mail call" on the return trip—a special tradition that honors and thanks veterans for their service.

🎉⛽ Congratulations to Jack Jacobus, our lucky winner of a tank of gas for this week's "Fuel Up Friday"! 🥳🚗
This week in Makerspace, our 5th graders took on an exciting engineering challenge—designing and building their very own tabletop basketball hoops! The hoops had to stand at least 7 inches tall, and students could only use 10 index cards, 2 pieces of construction paper, and tape.
With creativity, teamwork, and careful planning, every group completed their project successfully. We loved watching students brainstorm ideas, test their designs, and encourage one another along the way.
Most of all, they had fun bringing their ideas to life! We are so proud of their hard work and can’t wait to see what they build next.

Farmington District #265 would like to take a moment to honor our service Dog, Frankie!
In celebration of National Service Dog Day, which is tomorrow (9/20), we want to recognize the incredible impact service dogs have on emotional well-being, providing comfort, calm, and support those that need it the most. A huge thank you to his handler Christie Koenig for bringing Frankie to school twice a week. His visits bring smiles to several faces at our schools!
Frankie is four years old! His favorite toy is his owl squshmallow, although he loves putting as many of his squish toys in his mouth that he possibly can! His favorite treat is string cheese! When Frankie is not working, he loves playing fetch!
Thank you Frankie! We appreciate you so much!

We are incredibly proud of our Jr. High softball team and the season they had this year. Last night did not go as we had hoped, but it was a great season and we have so much to be proud of. They fell to Kewanee Wethersfield in the Sectional Championship last night and finished their season with a 15-6- 1 record. This team earned the first IESA Regional in softball that Farmington has had since the school consolidated into Farmington Central. Great season Farmers!
Also, we want to congratulate Penny B. for winning the IESA Sportsmanship Pin in last nights game.
