It was AMAZING seeing our Farmers back in the building at Open House! Definitely had a lot of smiling new & familiar faces back in the building to meet their teachers. We had so many excited teachers saying they were able to see all their students!
The Farmington Central High School has hired a new Theatre Director! Please help us welcome Mrs. Tammy Weaver on Thursday, August 22nd (The same night as Meet The Farmers). We will be set up in the high school cafeteria at 6:30 PM. Please come out and say hello!
Everyone mark your calendars for MEET THE FARMERS NIGHT on Thursday, August 22nd at 6:00 PM. Bring the family! We will have games and competitions for JH and elementary students, a snow cone vendor, and the introduction of all participants. A parent meeting will take place in the auditorium at 6:10. Volleyball Scrimmage at 6:40 . Band will perform at 7:10. Cheer and Dance perform at 7:30 .Football Scrimmage at 7:40. There will also be an Early Bird drawing of the Lucky 13 for the Farmington Athletic Booster Club.

Kindergarten Boot Camp: BIG SUCCESS!
Last week, FCES had it's annual Kindergarten Boot Camp! Our Kindergarten teachers led our students through a scavenger hunt, taught students routines, and worked on introductory skills... along with a little fun on the playground. It was AMAZING having students back in the building!

Please note: All of the following high school practices start at the following time on Monday, August 12th:
B & G GOLF - meet at Maple Lanes in Elmwood at 4:00 PM. SOCCER at Illini Bluffs at 5:00 PM and then 3:30 PM the rest of the week. CROSS COUNTRY will meet at the HS track and practice at 3:45 PM. FOOTBALL will start at 3:25 PM. VOLLEYBALL will be at 3:15 in the HS gym.
Attention JH baseball players! Tryouts will take place at the JH baseball field tomorrow, AUGUST 5th and Tuesday AUGUST 6th from 3-5pm!
Attention JH Cross Country Runners! We are meeting at 7 a.m by thr Jr. High office for practice tomorrow, August 5th. We will practice until 8 30 a.m. Season schedules will be handed out at practice!

If your student is a returning student, please log into your Skyward Family Access Account; there you can click on your student's name to verify their information.
Only students that have never attended the district or have not attended for more than a year should use the new student registration link.

JH Softball tryouts will begin on Monday, July 29th and 30th from 5PM to 7PM. Please bring your own equipment and water! If you have questions please contact Coach Fauser at jfauser@dist265.com.
SPORTS PHYSICALS at the high school tomorrow morning (July 16th). Reminder that Dr. Martin will be at the high school office from 6:30AM to 8:15AM providing sports physicals! No need to sign up in advance. Cost is $25. This is for all 7th and 8th graders and 10th-12th graders!
