Due to significant water remaining on the FCHS baseball field, the varsity baseball game for today has been moved to Delevan High School. Game time will be 4:30 PM.

Congratulations to 7th Grader Rebecca Kirk! Rebecca was names the best of the day in her room for her oboe solo at the solo and ensemble contest this past weekend. This is the highest award recognized by the IESA!

Junior high band and choir students represented Farmington Central Junior High well in solo and ensemble contest this weekend. They brought home 16 division 1 ratings and 3 division 2 ratings! Congratulations!!

Baseball games for this weekend have been moved due to the weather. The Limestone game scheduled for today will now be played on 4/18 at 4:15 PM in Farmington. The East Peoria games scheduled for tomorrow will be made up on 3/27 in East Peoria at 4:15 PM.

This past weekend, Mrs. Simaytis and 14 students attended the Key Club District Convention in Springfield, Illinois to celebrate a successful year in service.
Our students where recognized for the following awards: distinguished president Erica Riccioni, vice-president Maddie Helle, secretary Kyleigh Carpenter, treasurer Alisyn Eichorn, senior member Kristiaan Scalf, junior member Alexis Miller, sophomore member Amber Asbury, freshman member Levi Lekies, Kiwanis Relations, Make Your Mark, and Reporting Success. The other two big awards that they received this weekend were 1st place in non-traditional scrapbook and 1st place in the silver division for the James Robert Hall Achievement Award. Congratulations to our Key Club members and leaders!

📚 MARCH BOOK MADNESS 🏀
During the month of March, FCES will be participating in *MARCH BOOK MADNESS.* Each day classes will read two books & vote on which one was the best. Winners are posted on the bracket for everyone to see. At our Friday morning meeting, Mrs. Thompson will update everyone on which books have made it to the next round. We will continue until the students have crowned a MARCH BOOK MADNESS champion!
