Congratulations to the Jr. High Scholastic Bowl team for winning the IESA Regional Championship last night. They move on to the IESA Sectional matches on Monday May 1 at Peoria Reservoir.

🐆 5th Grade Volume Zoo 🐘
Mrs. Mrozinski’s class had a wonderful time reviewing irregular volume by creating a volume zoo! #FarmerFUN
Bus routes 5 and 17 will be combined for the rest of the school year. This afternoon, bus route 3 and 18 will also be combined.
The JV Baseball game at Galesburg has been canceled for today, April 25th.
Please note: A varsity baseball game has been added to the schedule. The game will be on May 2 at 4:30 at home vs. BPC.
Mr. Anderson's 5th grade class visited Mrs. Fruendt's Kindergarten class to take part in FCES Book Buddies last week. It is great to see different classes interact and learn together!

🌎 Earth Day: Trash to Treasure Celebration! ♻️
4th graders celebrated Earth Day by creating treasure out of trash! Students used their creativity to re-use discarded materials & make some very functional treasures. Bird houses, organizers, recycling bins, & fishing poles were only a few of the terrific ideas these kids came up with. In addition, 3rd graders were invited to do a gallery walk where they could see all the creations & ask questions. #FarmerFUN

Saw a wonderful performance in Mrs. Naylor's 4th grade of Fractured Fairy Tales. We have some really talented performers here at FCES!
On Thursday, April 27, we will have a college signing day for 4 of our seniors. Please feel free to join us in the Research Center to help celebrate their accomplishments.

Had a wonderful morning meeting last Friday with Mrs. Holloway's 1st grade class! They did a great job, showing the rest of FCES that they were ready to be leaders in the school!
