The Olympic flame has officially reached the halls of FCES! 🏔️🔥
We traded textbooks for teammates this week as our incredible staff competed in the first-ever FCES Winter Games. The energy in the building was electric, and the "athletes" definitely brought their A-game (and maybe a little bit of healthy competition).
🏆 The Event Highlights: Speed Skating: Our teachers showed off some serious (and surprisingly graceful) velocity! ⛸️
The Bobsled Run: Teamwork made the dream work as crews navigated the "track" with maximum aerodynamic efficiency. 🛷
Curling: A masterclass in strategy, precision, and very enthusiastic sweeping. 🥌
While there were plenty of medals to go around, the real win was seeing the smiles on our students' faces as they cheered on their favorite educators. A huge thank you to everyone who organized this and to our staff for being such good sports!
A massive thank you to Mrs. Meyer for setting this whole event up! Her hard work and vision turned our school into an Olympic village and gave us all a week we won’t forget. 🥇

Here is the information for the IHSA Boys Basketball Sectional game at IVC in Chillicothe on Tuesday, March 3rd. The game will start at 6 PM. The doors will open at 5 PM. The Farmers take on West Hancock for a chance to play in the Sectional Championship on Friday, March 6th at 7 PM. Good luck to the 7th Grade girls volleyball team as they travel to Beardstown tomorrow (2/28) for their IESA Class 3A Regional tournament game. The game is scheduled to begin after the second match tomorrow, somewhere around 12:00 PM.
