Hello, Families!
FCES is having an excellent start to the school year! This includes our continued incorporation of the Leader in Me program: 7 Habits of Happy Kids. The first couple weeks teachers spend time building relationships with our students & introducing these habits through different activities. Pictured is a description of each habit. Please feel free to ask your student(s) what they have learned about these & how they can demonstrate these traits both at school & at home.

HOMECOMING 2022 - just a reminder that the homecoming parade this year is on Thursday, October 6th at 5:00 PM.

First Day Fun!!! Part 1
It was AWESOME having students back in the building for the first day! Enjoy some pictures from today & last night’s Open House. #FarmerFun #Enjoy

Hello, Farmers! We had an EXCELLENT turnout at our Open House last night. If you were unable to get your car tag number for student car rider pick-up, please feel free to contact the elementary office (245-1000 ext. 1) to get your student's car tag pick-up number. In addition, all students who did not receive a car tag at open house will have one sent home this week.
If you have your car tag number already, please display it prominently in your windshield. This will help speed up the car rider pick up.
We appreciate everyone's patience with this process, especially on the first day of school! Thanks, Farmers!!!

Teachers are in the building & ready to see students & families tonight for OPEN HOUSE! Here are some pictures of our teachers in action, ready to welcome our students with open arms & a year full of FUN!

The time for the JH Softball game with East Peoria on Thursday, August 18th has been changed to a 5:30 start. There will only be one game.

The JH Cross Country meet originally scheduled for 8/23 in Brimfield has been changed to 9/6 and will begin at 4:15 PM.

The Farmington Central District 265 district wide open house is Tuesday, August 16 from 6 to 7:30.
Students and families will be able meet the teachers and drop off school supplies.
The school nurse, food service director, district registrar and the bus company will all be available to answer questions.

Please note the JH Softball and JH Baseball games for Monday, August 15th have been moved to Brimfield JH. Game times are still the same 4:00 start for both!

It was a great night for our Summer Band Showcase! The crowd was treated to performances by our 5th, 6th, 7/8th, and High School bands!

Day 2 of Kindergarten Boot Camp was a huge SUCCESS! Students were able to practice activities, procedures, and even learn how to ride the bus! It was truly wonderful having students back in the building! We are looking forward to having everyone back August 17th!
