The Illinois Principals Association (IPA) hosted its annual Student Recognition Breakfast on Monday (4/27). This event celebrates students who demonstrate outstanding character, effort, and leadership within their school communities.
Based on the thoughtful input and nominations from our 8th-grade teachers, Mr. Uptmor is proud to announce this year’s representatives for FJCHS:
Aria Demmin is a standout individual who leads by example. While she is often quiet, her work ethic speaks volumes. She consistently pours her best effort into her academics and her extracurricular activities, proving that dedication and a steady hand lead to great success.
Lane Shelby is a true example of resilience and grit. Lane has shown an incredible ability to battle through adversity, managing to find success not only in the classroom but in his life outside of school and across his extracurricular pursuits.
Congratulations to these two 8th grade students on their accomplishments this school year!
