We are so proud to continue to be able to serve meals to our communities! In an effort to reduce contact, we will be scaling back the number of days these meals will be served. We will continue to provide daily breakfast and lunch, but those meals will be distributed 2 days at a time going forward- on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the same locations and times as before. Please see the attached document for the updated schedule.

Per Governor Pritzker's decree the Farmington Central CUSD#265 campus is "CLOSED" to ALL PEOPLE outside of the already established essential personnel within the administration, technology, maintenance, and food service departments.  Established educational opportunities will continue through March 30th.  There will be more information forthcoming regarding school work beyond March 30th closer to that time. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to assist with the Grab and Go meal program.  The program will continue during the shelter in.  Sincerely, Dr. Zac Chatterton

It was not possible to capture everyone involved in a picture due to social distancing, but we want to give a huge shout out and thank you to the cafeteria staff, maintenance, bus drivers and administration who kept a little bit of normal running this week through school lunches. Over 2,000 meals were served this week!

Musical changes- Due to current circumstances, FCHS musical “Big Fish” has been moved to May 8,9 (both at 7pm) and May 10 (at 2pm). We apologize for any delay in information; however we needed confirmation from the rights company before doing so. We also are. ensuring that the materials within the theatre are sanitized during this break as well. Rehearsals will continue upon our return to school and will be as our usual schedule would dictate. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mr. Lambert (rlambert@dist265.com). March 15, 2020 4:15 pm Farmington Community: Students will not be in session on Monday, March 16th. Staff are welcome to report but are urged to engage in social distancing while on premises. The alternative learning plans that were approved by our Regional Office of Education this past Friday will be enacted starting tomorrow and CONTINUE THROUGH Monday, March 30th. There will be no on campus activities allowed prior to the start of school on Tuesday, March 31st. The parent teacher conferences scheduled for this week are suspended at this time and certified staff will NOT be available on Friday, March 20th as that was previously scheduled as a nonattendance day. There will be Grab and Go drive thru meal options (see attachment). If you participate in this option, we ask that you stay in your car. The bags will be handed to you through your car window. We cannot emphasize enough how imperative it is that we all take this seriously and parents have their children at home, avoid having them out in public groups, and practice good personal hygiene. There will be an additional email sent to staff via district email. This is a very fluid situation as we all know and Farmington Central CUSD#265 would like to thank everyone for their patience, understanding, and attention to this public health concern. We will continue to share information as we receive it and we appreciate all the efforts the State of Illinois, ISBE, ROE, IDPH, and community leaders are putting into place. Sincerely, Dr. Chatterton

To Who It May Concern: In light of recent closures and cancellations, we have decided it would be best to move our JH cheer clinic and tryouts. Below are the new dates and times. If you have a conflict with these times, please contact us personally ASAP, so we can make arrangements. Clinic: In Elem Gym D, March 17th, immediately following school until 5 pm. Please pick your child up in Lot B at 5 pm. Tryouts: In Elem Gym D, March 18th, immediately following school until done. (I would plan to pick up at 4:30 pm). Please pick up your child in Lot B. If we are not done, we will send them out ASAP. **Please note there is now only ONE day of clinics. This means it is extremely important that you are doing all you can to learn all material via the youtube link prior to March 17th. Again, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us! Thanks for your understanding!! Sara Hanlin shanlin@dist265.com Melissa Petermeyer mpetermeyer@dist265.com
