Kelsey Bohlmann-Alvis was selected as Farmington Central High School’s December Senior of the Month. She is the daughter of Mary Ann and Levi Blair. She has three brothers; Austin Bohlmann, Connor Alvis, and Levi Blair Jr. Kelsey is a strong academic student who works well with her peers and is compassionate to those around her. She is curious about her passions and follows her interests with gumption. Kelsey is also involved in several extracurricular activities which include: Volleyball, Dance Team, and FFA. In addition to her involvement in school, Kelsey finds time to give back to the community as she volunteered for the Farmington Fire Department Chicken Fry. She will attend Spoon River College in the fall where she plans to major in Nursing. Congratulations, Kelsey!

Mrs. Paige Burklund is our December Staff Member of the Month. She is in her 3rd year at Farmington Central High School. She has been married for 6 years and has 2 dogs, Tate and Tawney. Her favorite things about teaching include: watching students shift their perspectives towards positive personal and worldly changes; creating lessons that are student driven and that are "out of the box"; and learning alongside students to solve everyday issues. "My students challenge me to be better than I was yesterday, which is always a personal goal that I have. I am humbled and thankful for their lives!" Congratulations Mrs. Burklund!
