The high school students had a great first quarter - meeting attendance, behavior and academic goals! They were treated to a "cookout" as a way for the staff to show their appreciation! We are so proud of our students and look forward to celebrating your success again in December. A big shout out to our Director of Food Services, Laken Slack, for going above and beyond to make this happen! What a great way to kick off a 3-day weekend!


Congratulations goes out to the 7th grade girls basketball team for their 2nd place finish in the Fulton County Tournament. Both the 7th and 8th grade teams are back in action tonight with home games against Wethersfield. Games begin at 5:00 PM.

October is National Principals Month and tomorrow is Principal Appreciation Day. Farmington Central CUSD is grateful for all of our principals and thankful for all they do for their buildings and the district!
The varsity volleyball team will be playing in the first round of the IHSA Regionals on Monday, October 27th, at 6:00 PM in Aledo (Mercer County High School). The Farmers will play Canton. The doors for the public will open at 5:30 PM.
Congratulations to the Illini Bluffs/Farmington Coop Soccer team on their win over Abingdon-Avon in the IHSA Regional Semifinal game last night. They have advanced to the Regional Championship on Saturday Night, October 25th at 7:00 PM. They play Rock Island Alleman at the Alleman Athletic Complex (1186 43rd Avenue, Moline).
Best of luck to the 7th Grade Girls Basketball team as they play in the Fulton County Tournament Championship game tonight. They will play Lewistown tonight at 7:00 PM at South Fulton.

The 7th grade girls basketball team won both of their pool play games in the Fulton County Tournament and will play for the Fulton County Championship on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM at South Fulton.
Our three state qualifiers for Cross Country all represented our school well. The state meet is a very large competition with 223 of the best runners in Illinois in each race. Addison M. finished 62nd overall, Kay H. finished 70th overall, and Jack H. finished 109th overall!
So happy to celebrate our awesome kids!

Before the first-round IHSA playoff game, we’ll honor Coach Vallas with a short presentation celebrating this special achievement in his coaching career.
We invite all alumni, fans, and community members to join us in recognizing Coach Vallas and showing your support for our Farmington Farmers as they head into the playoffs! We had a really great afternoon assembly at FCJHS! First, we welcomed our state cross country runners with a drumline entrance to the gym. Then we acknowledged our the rest of our cross country team, softball team, baseball team, speech team, 100 point AR Readers, and announced our Straight A students from the first quarter. Finished it all up with a great Farmer Buck Drawing ran by our Student Council! It is a great day to be a Farmer!!!
