Farmington District 265 will be running morning bus routes on Friday, May 8 to deliver student belongings and recover any school property needing returned to FCES and FCJH. This does not apply to Farmington Central High School, which has already communicated procedure for exchange of items. Buses will run their regular routes, with the addition of students who do not typically ride the bus, so times will be approximate and run between 6:45am-8:45am. When the bus arrives, items will be exchanged with students/parents or will be left if there is a visual contact made. If no person is present, items will not be left and may then be picked up from the schools on Monday, May 11 from 9am-3pm. Details for the Monday pickup will follow after Friday's deliveries. Items needing to be returned to schools will also be picked up at this stop. If possible, place the returned items in a zip seal bag, labeled with the student's first and last name. FCCUSD 265 staff looks forward to serving our students through this delivery!

Congratulations to May Staff Member of the Month- Mrs. White. She is currently in her 8th year of teaching and is LOVING the amount of effort and critical thinking her students are bringing to their online discussions and meetings. Her favorite part of being a Farmington farmer is her ability to create and maintain meaningful relationships with her both her students and her colleagues, and she values the quality time they spend together. Mrs. White currently lives in Peoria with her husband, Matt, and dog, Maggie, and is in her first year of graduate school pursuing a master's in professional school counseling. She enjoys reading, gardening, baking, and spending time in nature. A few of her weird obsessions include Dr. Who, the 90's band Hanson, manatees, and goat cheese. Congratulations, Mrs. White.

Farmington Central School Families,  Some families' circumstances may have changed since the COVID-19 crisis began and if you need to apply for a different Free and Reduced Lunch Status, you may do so online.  You do not need this for our meals served while we are doing remote learning, but this may qualify you for other State and Federal benefits through this school year.  Please note: you will still need to fill out a new application for the 20-21 school year when you register your student in July.   If you plan to fill out a new application we will need you to complete it by Wednesday, April 29th by 3 pm.  To apply for Free and Reduced Meal Status:  Sign into Family Access   - Go to  https://www.dist265.com/    - Menu   - For Parents   - Skyward Family Access   - Log-in using your Skyward username and password    - Open Family Access and select one of the students if you have more than one.  It will not matter which one, as the application will cover all students.   - On the left side of the screen, under home, click on "Food Service"   - Once the Food Service page is up, click on the work "Applications" which is blue and near the top right center.     -  Choose "Add Application"   - There will be an informational letter that you can read, then click in the box stating that you have read the instructions.   - Continue to click "Next" and follow the instructions.  If you need assistance with logging into Skyward, such as username and password please contact Denise Strube-Pieper at dstrube-pieper@dist265.com or if you have questions about the food service application please email Sue Arbogast at sarbogast@dist265.com.   We have also attached a copy of the Food Service Application just in case you would prefer to fill a paper copy out. There will also be paper copies available in Lot B during meal pick up on Monday and Wednesday this week from 11 am to 1 pm.   Thank you!
